BUNDESLIGA DEBUTS
Rothe gets a big pat on the back from Rose as he makes way, after leaving his mark on the game on his senior debut. Wolf also played his part - teenagers Bynoe-Gittens and Semic are on for their Bundesliga bows.

CONSOLATION GOAL
Pongracic miscontrols, allowing Nmecha a shot at the Dortmund goal. Kobel beats it out, but only as far as Baku, who stands up Zagadou and lashes into the top corner.

ATTACK-MINDED INTRODUCTION
Real Madrid loanee Reinier replaces Witsel. The Brazilian might not get a better opportunity to add to his one goal and assist across his first 35 BVB outings. Witsel's played a blinder - and the fans let him know it.

DORTMUND SWITCH
Moukoko, 17, replaces the red-hot Brandt. Wolfsburg loanee Marin Pongracic also gets a run-out, with Akanji - one of five Dortmund scorers today - earning a breather.

DOUBLE CHANGE
Schlager hobbles off after taking a gash to his ankle. Vranckx is on, while Felix Nmecha replaces older brother Lukas. It's all about restoring a modicum of pride for the Wolves now...
60'
HAALAND CHANCE!
Haaland's played in by Bellingham, but Casteels gets an outstretched leg to the the Dortmund's striker's low finish from the right-hand angle of the six-yard box. The hat-trick is very much on...

HAALAND AT THE DOUBLE!
A textbook Haaland finish, high past Casteels from the left third of the area, but it's a goal that owes so much to the ingenuity of Brandt. Not even Haaland expected the first-time lay-off, let alone the Wolfsburg defence. A lovely team goal, with Reus also involved in the build-up.
50'
REUS DENIED!
Witsel slips Reus in behind the Wolfsburg defence. He pulls the trigger on his left foot, but Casteels spreads himself well and diverts it wide.
47'
KOBEL!
Wolfsburg, with Roussillon having replaced Kruse, are on the attack. Akanji blocks from Nmecha, before Wind forces a flying save out of Kobel with a shot that was creeping in at the far post.

LACROIX INJURED
Lacroix's left thigh is heavily strapped - he can't continue. Mbabu is on as the Wolves shift to a four-man defence.

HAALAND WATCH
Promising from Dortmund again as Bellingham shifts a pass into the feet of Haaland. He's in-between the centre-backs, but his first touch is heavy and Casteels is out to gather.
39'
HAALAND ENDS HIS DROUGHT!
It gets worse for Wolfsburg. Witsel nicks the ball off Nmecha in the BVB box. Kobel launches it up field, forcing a mistake from Brooks on halfway. It's shifted out to Brandt on the right and into the box for Reus. He could have a go himself, but selflessly tees up Haaland for a routine finish into the unguarded net. That's his first goal in 384 minutes of Bundesliga football, dating back to Matchday 19.

CAN ADDS A FOURTH!
What is going on? Wolfsburg back off as Can saunters into space, before stepping inside of Arnold and hitting a daisy cutter past the despairing dive of Casteels from a good 20 yards. Wolfsburg's No.1 will feel he should have done better. This could be a cricket score.

THREE AND EASY!
Powerplay from Dortmund. Reus whips in a free-kick from the left. Akanji sticks out a boot, beating Haaland to the punch, and helping it past Casteels. No offside - BVB are flying!
27'
DORTMUND STRIKE AGAIN!
Dortmund basking in the sun as they add a quick-fire second. Witsel recovers possession on the edge of his own area, before feeind Haaland on the right. The Dortmund striker carries the ball deep into Wolfsburg territory, eventually slipping a pass through to Witsel, who'd continued his run. The Belgian coolly fires under Casteels for 2-0.

ROTHE WITH A DEBUT GOAL!
What a story! Brandt clips in a corner to the near post, where debutant TOM ROTHE - remember the name! - rises to flick a backwards header beyond Casteels. He's only 17!
22'
WOLF!
Reus slips a pass into the box for Wolf, who smashes narrowly wide of the far post. Haaland had just pulled off his marker on the penalty spot, and was arguably the better option.

NMECHA CONCERN
Nmecha is receiving treatment after overstretching his left knee when chasing down a long ball. The physio's magic spray seems to have done it's job though - at least for now - as Wolfsburg's top scorer returns to the field of play.
14'
HAALAND ON THE PROWL
Brute strength from Haaland to hold off the challenge of Lacroix. The 21-year-old digs out a cross, but Bornauw makes the block at the near post. BVB's No.9 hasn't scored in five Bundesliga matches, remember. That's his longest lean spell since joining Dortmund.
11'
CHANCES!
Rothe with the chance to open his Bundesliga account, but his low right-footed strike from inside the box is blocked. Dortmund come again with Wolf, who exchanges passes with Reus, before losing out to Lacroix by the by-line. Haaland was waiting...

ROAMING ROTHE
Bundesliga debutant, Rothe, playing more of a wing-back role, sends a cross into the arms of Casteels. BVB with a three-man defence today. The teenager should enjoy getting forward, judging by his 11 assists for the U19s.
3'
KOBEL SAVES!
Wolfsburg should be ahead as Kruse squares a pass into the six-yard box for Nmecha, but he's denied at close quarters by a brilliant bit of goalkeeping from Kobel. Let-off for BVB!

WARNING SHOT
Maxi Arnold can really strike the ball well from range, but this one trickles wide.

SEA OF BLACK AND YELLOW
It's another sell-out crowd at the Signal Iduna Park. Can BVB right the wrongs of their 4-1 loss to Leipzig, in their first game back in front of a full house?
A HAPPY EASTER IN DORTMUND?
"Wolfsburg are a team with a lot of quality," admitted Rose prior to the game. "They have good players, but we have a home game. We want to perform with confidence here and make sure the fans have a nice Easter."
TABLE TALK
Dortmund can close the gap on Bayern to six points, for 24 hours at least. Bayern face Bielefeld on Sunday, before hosting BVB in Der Klassiker next weekend. Wolfsburg sit 13th, with an eight-point cushion on the relegation zone, and only final five rounds of fixtures of the 2021/22 season remaining.

TEEN TITANS
Dortmund also have a further three teenagers on the bench in Youssoufa Moukoko (17) - the Bundesliga's youngest goalscorer - ex-Man City forward Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (17) and Lion Semic (18).
WHO IS TOM ROTHE?
A little background on Rose's curveball on the left-hand side of defence. Rothe joined Dortmund's U19s from the St. Pauli U17s in summer 2021. He's made 27 appearances across the U19s Bundesliga, domestic cups and UEFA Youth League so far this season, registering three goals and 11 assists.
MORE ON THOSE TEAMS
With Raphael Guerreiro out and Nico Schulz only just back after an injury of his own, Marco Rose hands 17-year-old Tom Rothe his Bundesliga debut at left-back. Julian Brandt starts after his brace from the bench in Stuttgart, while Marius Wolf replaces the injured Thorgan Hazard. Visitors Wolfsburg are unchanged from the 4-0 drubbing of Arminia Bielefeld.
