WHAT A RESULT!
Mainz beat the champions in style. They outplayed Nagelsmann's side for whom Lewandowski's record 18th away goal of the season will be scant consolation.

OFF THE BAR!
Onisiwo takes aim from the edge of the area. Ulreich is beaten, but the ball smacks the crossbar. Mainz could have had five or six goals today!

FRESH LEGS
Nianzou's on at the back for Hernandez, while 18-year-old Gabriel Vidovic replaces Choupo-Moting. The teenaged forward has scored 18 goals in 28 fourth-tier games so far this season.

WHAT A MISS!
Barreiro puts the ball on a plate for Burkardt. He's unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box, but curls wide!

MAINZ ADD A THIRD!
Just as Bayern are building up a head of steam, Mainz restore their two-goal lead. Stach wins the ball back from Sane in the Mainz half, the Germany international proceeding to release Onisiwo. He wriggles away from Davies and finds Widmer, who cuts in and tees up Barreiro in the box. The Mainz midfielder aims for the far top corner, but a wicked deflection off Pavard takes it in the other direction, over Ulreich and in off the bar.

BIG CHANCE!
Zentner's beaten as Gnabry plays in Lewandowski, but Hack puts in a superb recovery challenge to deny Bayern a certain equaliser.
46'
CHANGES

STACH!
Süle sticks out a boot to direct Stach's goal-bound shot over the crossbar. Ulreich wasn't going to get it.
42'
CLOSE!
Ulreich is at full stretch as Barreiro arrows a first-time strike narrowly wide of the post from 18 yards. That all came about after Gnabry miscued his clearance from a Martin free-kick.
40'
HALF CHANCE
Bayern's zonal marking fails them again as Widmer meets Martin's cross from deep, heading over. Nagelsmann will surely make changes at the break...
37'
WIDE!
Lewandowski's caught out defending for Bayern. Niakhate wins the challenge and feeds Burkardt, who helps it on to Onisiwo. He turns Hernandez, but the ball is just a bit too far in front of him and he screws his shot wide.
33'
RECORD GOAL!
Lewandowski sets a new record for most single-season away goals. The Bayern forward collects from Choupo-Moting in the box, rolls Hack and drives low and hard beyond Zentner. Eighteen goals on the road this term, 34 home and away!
30'
POST!
Bayern almost pull one back out of nothing as Choupo-Moting heads a Kimmich free-kick against the outside of a post.
28'
MAINZ SCORE AGAIN!
Bayern are all at sea once more as Martin sends in an in-swinging free-kick. Stach helps it on at the near post, with Niakhate one of three unmarked players only too happy to steer it home from close range.

ADVANTAGE MAINZ!
Mainz deservedly ahead at the Mewa Arena! Hernandez collects a throw and passes back to Ulreich. Kohr returns his tame clearance with interest, and there's Burkardt - just inside the box - to sweep a first-time finish under Ulreich. It has been coming!
17'
HACK!
Hack gets up to another corner, this time forcing Ulreich into evasive action. Mainz need to make one of these stick.
16'
ENCOURAGEMENT
Another promising moment for Mainz as Onisiwo cuts in off the left. Barreiro has a go from the edge of the area, but doesn't catch it well and Ulreich can gather.

CROSSBAR AGAIN!
Stach whips over a corner from the left. Hack's unmarked in the six-yard box, but sends his header against the top of the bar. Another let-off for Bayern, who aren't quite at the races.

RASH TACKLE
Goretzka stays down after being caught on the ankle by a late Niakhate challenge. Things get a little heated, but the referee manages to defuse the situation.
6'
PASS AND MOVE
Bayern pass the ball around the Mainz box for the first time. Lewandowski takes possession in the box, but Niakhate uses his strength to force a heavy touch from the Bayern goal machine. Goal-kick.
4'
HALF CHANCE!
Mainz use the right-hand flank again. Onisiwo gets away from Davies and crosses for Burkardt, who fires off target under pressure from Pavard.
2'
WOODWORK!
Mainz on the attack in the early stages, roared on by the 12th man. Stach gets in behind and finds Burkardt in the box. It's an impossible angle, and his strike cannons back off the bar, post and out.

IN BLOOM
The captains exchange pleasantries, with Niakhate presenting Lewandowski with a bouquet of flowers in recognition of Bayern's title triumph.
YNWA
Mainz fans give us a stirring rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone prior to kick-off. It's a full house at the Mewa-Arena.
CHOUPS WATCH
Choupo-Moting's only previous start in any club competition this season saw him score four and set up three in the 12-0 win against Bremer SV in the DFB Cup first round. The Cameroonian has five goals in 22 substitute outings, and he hit 22 in 81 games for ex-club Mainz.
OMENS
Mainz have won just three of 15 home Bundesliga matches against Bayern (D1, L11).

MAKING AMENDS
"We've got some making up to do," admitted Mainz head coach Bo Svensson in reference to the Wolfsburg drubbing. "Bayern are a top team and we're at home. It'll be tough, but we're up for it." Mainz could yet finish ninth, but could also slip to 15th come the final day.
GOALS RECORD
Bayern head into the final three games of the season, having scored 92 goals and with designs on beating the Bundesliga record set by the class of 1971/72 (101). "It'll be our goal to score as many goals as possible in the final three games," Nagelsmann said. "As for how many it'll be, that's down to us on the one hand but also how many the opponents allow."
