Augsburg tears away down the left, gets to the byline and pulls the ball back into the middle for Cardona to poke over the line with the last kick of the game!

Tel just wide!
Kimmich with a brilliant forward pass, spraying the ball to Tel. He jinks inside from the left and gets a shot away but it narrowly misses the frame of the goal.

More substitutions
Both teams make changes with just over 10 minutes left to go, most notably with Mazraoui making his comeback after several weeks out.

Five star Bayern
Davies has surely put this game out of Augsburg's reach, if it wasn't already, poking in at the far post from Cancelo's cross from the right.

So close to a fifth!
Incredible pace and close control from Musiala to surge away from two players in midfield. As he approaches the Augsburg box he slides the ball into his right into the path of Sane, but his eventual shot with his weaker right foot is easily blocked.

More goals on the way?
We've already been treated to six today but the way this game is going, it gives you the sense that more are coming.

Mane again!
The Senegalese forward wants his goal! Bayern keep possession outside the Augsburg box and when it comes to Mane he doesn't think twice. It's a better effort than his previous effort but flies just off target.
52'
Mane sidefoots wide!
Davies scampers down the left and pulls the ball back to the edge of the area. Mane is unmarked but scuffs his shot and it bobbles wide.
50'
Mane goal disallowed!
Sane squeezes the ball through to Mane, who finishes first time but the referee's assistant raises his flag and it's rightly chalked off for offside.

Four - yes four! - changes from Augsburg during the interval. None from Bayern.

Knockout blow?
Mane's cross from the left is deflected off a defender and onto Gikiewicz. It loops up and Sane is first to react, heading in from close range to surely seal the points for Bayern.

Mane and Gnabry go close
Mane forces a good save from Gikiewicz with his first proper effort at goal of the game. The ensuing corner is delivered to Gnabry at the back post but his shot whistles just over.

At the double!
All three of Bayern's goals today have come from defenders, and Pavard has two of them! De Ligt's powerful header from a corner into the box bounces off Beljo and loops up at the back post, where Pavard executes a sublime volley to smash it into the net!
33'
Over from Sane
Cancelo recovers the ball in midfield and plays it to Sane in a central position. He's got time and space to line up a shot but he puts too much juice into it and it's off to Row Z.

Turnaround!
Augsburg struggle to clear a Kimmich free-kick from the right. Mane recycles possession with an overhead kick back into the centre- where Pavard is lurking to prod over the line!

Bayern level!
It's been coming and now Bayern have their goal. Sane spreads the ball out to the right to Cancelo, who darts into the box, turns Pedersen inside out and drills a low shot into the far corner. A fine finish from the January recruit and his first Bundesliga goal!
14'
Over from Gnabry
Bayern are pushing for an equaliser and go close again through Gnabry, who finds space on the edge of the Augsburg box. His shot is always rising though and goes well over.

Musiala!
Davies slides the ball into Musiala's path on the left. He jinks past his marker inside the box as if he weren't there and lashes a shot towards the near post that Gikiewicz does well to parry.

Another break
Augsburg could be playing with fire here. Yes, they're high pressing is causing Bayern problems at the back right now but the flip side of that coin is that they're leaving themselves exposed on the counter. Musiala leads the charge this time before finding Gnabry on the right. His attempted pass back into the middle for Mane is just cut out though.
7'
Cancelo shoots
Bayern's first shot of the game comes via Cancelo as the hosts break forward. Sane has possession in a central position and spies Cancelo overlapping on the right. He cuts inside and shoots but it's a comfortable save for Gikiewicz.
3'
Augsburg lead!
Berisha has his fourth goal in as many games against Bayern as Augsburg's bold, aggressive start pays off! Beljo wins an aerial duel and flicks the ball to his strike partner on the edge of the Bayern box. He instantly loops the ball over Cancelo's head, spins and smashes a left-footed shot into the bottom corner!

Here we go!
Augsburg, decked out all in white, get the ball rolling in Munich!

Team news - Bayern
Julian Nagelsmann has made five changes from the victory over PSG in the Champions League during the week. Pavard, Cancelo, Gnabry, Mane and Sane all come in for Stanisic, Coman, Goretzka, Müller and the injured Choupo-Moting. It's Mane's first start since sustaining an injury on 8 November 2022.

Team news - Augsburg
Head coach Enrico Maaßen has made three changes following last week's 2-1 win over Werder Bremen. Mergim Berisha, who was sidelined for that game with muscular problems, is back in the side, taking Ruben Vargas' place. Interestingly, the forward has scored in all three of his games against Bayern to date. The other two changes are Maximilian Bauer and Baumgartlinger, who replace Renato Vega and Niklas Dorsch.
Milestones
Augsburg's Julian Baumgartlinger makes his 250th Bundesliga appearance today, while Dayot Upamecano makes his 50th Bundesliga outing for Bayern.

The Nagelsmann link
It was at Augsburg where Julian Nagelsmann first got into coaching, as a scout for the reserves under Thomas Tuchel. The 35-year-old has since lost twice to Augsburg in charge of Bayern, but does have more wins against them as a coach than any other club (12 in all competitions).
Breathing space
Augsburg’s eight-point cushion over the drop zone is the biggest they’ve enjoyed all season.
Unhappy travellers
Augsburg have won all four of their home games since the winter break, conceding just once. But they have lost all four of their away matches, conceding 12 times.
The one blot on the copybook
Bayern have scored a goal in 103 of their last 104 Bundesliga fixtures. The one exception was the reverse fixture when they lost 1-0.
The new bogey team?
Bayern recently lost to their traditional nemesis Borussia Mönchengladbach. Augsburg are the only other team to beat them this season and have won two of the last three Bundesliga encounters. However, no team has done the double over the record champions since 2011/12.
