Dortmund began the Bundesliga campaign with wins over Leverkusen (1-0) and Freiburg (3-1), before losing 3-2 at home to Bremen - a game they led 2-0 until the 89th minute. Edin Terzic's side bounced straight back last time out, winning 1-0 at Hertha Berlin. Victory over Hoffenheim would take them top of the table - overnight at least.
