Kehl: "Terzic spoilt for choice"
Sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, was delighted with BVB's midweek win over in-form TSG, telling media after the game: "We're still unbeaten, we're on a great run, we're very stable at home, we're in good form and condition, and we have a big squad... The coach will be spoilt for choice at the weekend."
Müller: "We weren't clever"
Thomas Müller, who opened the scoring before Saarbrücken's comeback, described the cup exit as "brutal" this week, saying: “We simply weren't clever... we had several chances, we were completely on top and showed plenty of drive towards the opposition goal. We're playing again on Saturday. There's not much to think about now, even if it's a brutal blow for us. This is not at all what we aspire to.”

Home fortress
Dortmund are unbeaten in their last 20 Bundesliga home matches. Their last defeat at the Signal Iduna Park dates back to a crazy 3-2 reverse against Werder Bremen on 20 August 2022, when they were 2-0 up until the 89th minute, only to concede three times in the final few minutes.
BVB better this calendar year
Dortmund have won more points than any other Bundesliga side in the 2023 calendar year so far (67), considerably more than Bayern (60).
Recent history points one way
Bayern have won eight of the last nine Klassiker meetings in the Bundesliga, drawing once.
