Ermedin Demirović's second-half equaliser earned Augsburg a point against Hoffenheim and extends their unbeaten run under new manager Jess Thorup to four games. Wout Weghorst had given Die Kraichgauer the lead midway through the first half when he headed Marius Bülter's ball home, but Augsburg captain Demirović fired a well-hit effort into the corner shortly after the restart to restore parity, and neither side was able to find a winner.

Jess Thorup is the first Augsburg coach to go unbeaten in his first three Bundesliga games (two wins, one draw). His arrival has also brought the best out of Phillip Tietz who has scored in all three of those games under Thorup having not struck for the club before then.

Fit-again Andrej Kramaric has scored in each of his last three away games, with all of those goals giving his team the lead.

Hoffenheim are the only team in the division with a perfect away record. They've won five out of five on their travels and collected 15 points in the process.

Hosts Augsburg sit on 12 points in 10th going into Matchday 11, while the visitors are sixth. A Hoffenheim win could take TSG level on points with VfB Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund in third and fourth, respectively.
