Having recovered from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 in the closing stages at the MHPArena, Frank Schmidt's men only saw a famous win slip from their grasp when Deniz Undav scored in the eighth minute of added time. Title slipping away

Bayern's 2-0 home reverse against Klassiker rivals Borussia Dortmund last weekend allowed runaway leaders Bayer Leverkusen to stretch their advantage at the top of the standings to 13 points. Despite that gap, FCB will be keen to keep trying until the last while they also have the task of keeping third-placed Stuttgart - who are snapping at the Bavarians' heels - at bay.

Heidenheim were still riding high on a first-ever promotion to the Bundesliga when they visited the defending champions at the magnificent Allianz Arena earlier this season. A formidable fightback from 2-0 down to make it 2-2 had the visitors dreaming that day, until Bayern won it inside the final 20 minutes.
