Mbabu wins a corner as Augsburg go in search of a late leveller. Dahmen goes up for it, but Maier's delivery doesn't even clear the first post. It's headed out to Marmoush, who gets the better of Pedersen before racing in on the empty goal and stroking in Frankfurt's third goal of the half.

Smolčić is on to shore up the Frankfurt defence. Teenaged striker Nacho Ferri also enters the fray for the final minute or so. Buta and Götze head off, after making a real difference in the second half. Eintracht might still be behind but for their efforts.

Augsburg are guilty of sending too many players forward as Knauff tears away on the break. He rounds Dahmen before squaring a pass into the six-yard box, but Mbabu is able to clear in front of Marmoush.

Götze finds the rampaging Buta in acres of space on the right. He asks the question with a nicely weighted cross, but the white shirts get in the way. It's been one-way traffic since the break...

Nkounkou, who has fallen out of favour in recent weeks, replaces Max at left-back.

Chaïbi curls a free-kick towards the six-yard box. Dina Ebimbé is completely unmarked, but heads off target. He did not expect that to get through.

Chaïbi finds Koch in the Augsburg box, but the defender's header is straight at Dahmen. The Eagles have their tails up...

The equaliser was all about the vision of Götze in the build-up. This one's about Marmoush. He turns away and strides forward before feeding Ekitiké. The PSG loanee looks to have overplayed it as Augsburg get a couple of blocks in, but he recovers possession, dances into a central position and sneaks a low finish into the bottom corner from 18 yards. Lovely way to open his Bundesliga account!

Eintracht move the ball quickly towards the right-hand flank. Dina Ebimbé and Buta exchange passes, and the cross is an absolute peach for Chaïbi to side-foot past Dahmen from close range. Game on!

Frankfurt hoodwink the Augsburg defence with a free-kick from the right. It's cut back across the area and dummied by Götze, but Buta's goal-bound strike is blocked.

Dina Ebimbé crosses for Max, who opts to touch the ball back rather than take on the shot himself. It's awkward for Marmoush - he sends a controlled volley spinning past the upright.

Marmoush glides towards the edge of the area, before slipping a pass into the penalty box for Buta. He tries to take it in his stride, but a defender gets a crucial block in to stop the former Portugal youth international from going one-on-one with Dahmen.

Dahmen spills a fierce hit from Marmoush that skipped up off the wet turf as he went to gather. Ekitiké tries to get on the end of the rebound, but Augsburg smuggle it clear.

Marmoush does well to turn and jink past a couple of players in midfield. He drives forward and tries to slot the ball into Dina Ebimbe's path, but Gouweleeuw intercepts brilliantly and prevents the Frankfurt midfielder going through one-on-one.
