Wide
Schlotterbeck is never troubling Koubek with that strike.

Reus receives standing ovation
Unsurprisingly, the 34-year-old is serenaded as he departs. It was another brilliant showing from Reus, one we have become so used to seeing down the years.
66'
Crossbar
Almost another magic moment for Reus, but Koubek's save from his attempt bounces onto the crossbar.

Wide again!
Another opening for Augsburg's star man, but it is the same result.
53'
Demirović wide
The Bosnian's 15 goals is the most any Augsburg player has ever scored in the Bundesliga, but he can't quite grab a 16th here, directing his first-time shot past the post.
50'
Tietz over
The striker's header is always too high, but it does at least show Augsburg's intent as they look to stage an unlikely comeback.

It just had to be! Reus gets his goal on a special day for him, as he keeps his composure while dinking over Koubek. What a first-half this has been!

The away side make the most of a small pressure of pressure, as Vargas volleys into the corner via a Papadopoulos deflection. Game on!

Strong start
Despite the glut of changes, Dortmund have started positively here and are worth their lead.

Dortmund lead!
BVB take the lead in unusual circumstances. There is confusion as Moukoko appears to be in an offside position when he backheels over the line from close range, but the ball does not strike a Dortmund player in the build-up and the goal therefore stands!

Maier over
A first chance of the game falls to the former Hertha Berlin midfielder, who can't keep his volley down on this occasion.

The lay of the land
Dortmund have eased their own concerns over a top-four place - and Champions League qualification - by earning the Bundesliga an extra spot in next year's competition so, for the hosts, it's now about finishing the season as strongly as possible and bidding for UCL glory in the meantime. As for Augsburg, they sit ninth and a point back from seventh going into the weekend, with their own European qualification hopes very much still alive.
