Julian Schuster on Gladbach

“It will be a great challenge, facing an opponent on a good run right now. We need to be full of energy for this game against Mönchengladbach.”

Gerardo Seoane on Freiburg

"They're a resilient team, with a lot of experience and a clear structure. They continue to develop every year and always strengthen themselves with a few new players. Recently they have not been delivering results, but have still shown good performances. In Dortmund, for example, they were very competitive for a long time before the two sendings off turned the game around. We are therefore not fooled by the latest results, because we know that Freiburg are a very solid team."

Home or away - Kleindienst can

Glad to have you here

Freiburg are unbeaten in 16 home matches against Gladbach - taking ten wins and six draws. They have never achieved such a long home run against any other opponents in the Bundesliga.

Gladbach in gear

Borussia Mönchengladbach's five wins so far this season are as many as they managed in the whole first half of last season (in 17 matches). Only Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen boast longer unbeaten runs currently than Gladbach (five).
