Storks hit the woodwork!
Almost another for the hosts! Arp spins and shoots high from distance. The ex-Bayern man's effort rattles the crossbar.
83'
Kiel on target!
This has the Kiel fans happy at last! It's a first Bundesliga goal at home for the Storks after some fine play by sub Tymoteusz Puchacz - who crosses for Armin Gigović. The 22-year-old heads down and although Neuer gets a hand to it, he can't keep Kiel out.

Bayern booking
Timo Becker is hacked down by Palhinha and the Bayern man is booked.

Hard memories
The last time the hosts conceded five goals was almost exactly a year ago, when the Storks went down by 5-1 away to eventual second-division champions FC St. Pauli.
70'
Bayern firsts
Kompany's men are the first to score five goals in a game this season and the first to reach 10 goals in 2024/25.
67'
Olise off the mark
Michael Olise has his first Bundesliga goal. The attacker watches Weiner brilliantly palm out an Alphonso Davies strike and is on hand to fire home the rebound.

Arp into the action
Fiete Arp - once on Bayern's books - is on for Kiel.

Zagreb on the horizon
Bayern begin their UEFA Champions League challenge at home against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday, meaning it's time for some more changes for Vincent Kompany's side. Konrad Laimer and Alphonso Davies relieve Sacha Boey and Rahpaël Guerreiro.

No go Upamecano

Well, now. This is better from the hosts. Pichler rises highest and loops a header at the target. The ball bounces off the top of the crossbar.

Gnabry denied
Bayern's No. 7 wallops a shot at the target but Wiener is equal to it, the goalkeeper palming that one away.

Kane double
Coman passes back for Kane, who takes a touch to control the ball around the D. The English striker then sends a sumptuous side-footed shot from distance in off the foot of the post. Classy.

Possession winning
Kiel have needed 28.5 seconds to win the ball here, which is significantly more than Bayern (16.2 seconds).

Kiel cheer
Home goalkeeper Timon Weiner makes a fine double stop to deny Gnabry and then Coman. That's given the home supporters reason to cheer.

Gnabry fancies chances
Kiel mount a rare attack but it's not long before Bayern are menacing back up the other end. Gnabry wafts a left-footer from distance wide of the upright.

In double quick time
The last time Bayern were 3-0 up so early was on 16 February 2020, when the Rekordmeister were 3-0 ahead at Cologne after 12 minutes. That game finished 4-1 in FCB's favour.

Goodnight Holstein
Well, that hope has surely now been extinguished with Bayern's third in the 13th minute. Jamal Musiala dances towards the end-line, all step-overs and turns and tricks. He pulls the ball back and poor Nicolai Remberg diverts into his own net.
10'
Kiel hope?
Well, there is always hope, as difficult as the hosts' seem to have made things for themselves here. On the 34th matchday of last season, Bayern were 2-0 ahead at Hoffenheim after six minutes and lost 2-4.
7'
Too easy
This is poor from Kiel. Lewis Holtby, under no apparent pressure, plays a loose pass out from inside his own area. Gnabry pounces, diverting the ball into the path of Harry Kane, who slams home at the near post.
4'
Musiala again
Jamal Musiala scored his second goal of the season here. Both goals were scored away from home and both put Bayern 1-0 up in games.

What the ... ?
Bayern lead with the first attack of the game! Kane heads in for Musiala and after two Kiel defenders bump into one another, the Germany international has a clear shot of goal. Musiala fires low into the corner.

Watch: When Holstein Kiel beat Bayern Munich
Slow starters
Only three teams have lost their first three Bundesliga games: Karlsruhe (1963), Borussia Neunkirchen (1964) and Energie Cottbus (2000). However, all three avoided relegation at the end of their debut top-flight campaigns. Kiel certainly wouldn't say 'no' to joining that list, as long as they're still afloat come May.
