How's he missed?
A mix-up between Hrádecký and Tah sees the former's clearance hit the other and loop towards goal. Ekitiké runs onto the ball trying to head it up but is eased off it by Tah and collapses in a heap. Frankfurt very nearly gifted a late equaliser.

Almost three
A superb cross from Tella out on the right is begging to be headed home but Schick can't quite reach it and the balls goes out for a throw in. We're into injury-time now.

Five minutes to go
Frankfurt are running out of ideas - and time - here.

More subs
Tella and Schick are on for Leverkusen, with the latter replacing Boniface who had an indifferent start to the day with the penalty miss but may well prove to be the match-winner. Frankfurt bring on Uzun in their final switch.

Third and fourth Frankfurt changes
It's a double change for Frankfurt as Dahoud and Skhiri come on with 10 minutes to go. Leverkusen have been in complete command for much of this second-half.

Double change Leverkusen
Alonso has reached into reserve for the first time, with Wirtz and García introduced. Can they make the difference for the hosts?

Andrich hits the post!
An excellent layoff from Boniface and even better strike from Andrich on his left foot that beats Trapp but not the post. Leverkusen almost bundle the rebound home, too, but Frankfurt survive.

Over from Boniface
The first chance of the second-half and it's Boniface who has it but he can only head Terrier's cross from the right over the bar. The Nigerian was at full stretch and just couldn't keep it down.

Ekitiké effort ruled out
Ekitiké is denied a stunner by the offside flag. He caresses the ball into the far corner but Dina Ebimbe, the man who set up the striker, strayed beyond the Leverkusen defence moments before.

Trapp almost caught out
Andrich spots Trapp off his line and has a go at goal from inside his own half which has Trapp scrambling. It curls just wide of the post to spare the Frankfurt keeper's blushes.

Trapp denies Boniface again
There's a superb touch from Boniface on his chest before swinging his left foot round to take aim at goal but he's under pressure, the angle is tight and Trapp is up to the challenge. The subsequent corner sees Xhaka left fly once more but it's wide.

Six on the trot
Marmoush has now scored in each of his last six Bundesliga matches and has nine for the season - four more than any other player. What a start to the season he's had.

Eintracht given a penalty!
It's all going on at the BayArena and it's the visitors who have a chance from the spot now...

Off the post!
Eintracht have responded superbly since the penalty miss and the in-form Marmoush lashes one from outside the box which beats Hradecký but rattles the left-hand post and rebounds to safety. That would have been a screamer.

Leverkusen have the first effort on goal and we know Xhaka can hit them from here but his curling effort from distance sails over the bar. Bright start from the home side.

What's at stake?
Well, a win for Leverkusen would see them leapfrog Frankfurt and move them level with Bayern Munich at the top ahead of their meeting with VfB Stuttgart later on. The visitors, meanwhile, would move two points clear of Bayern with victory and could claim them top spot for the time being depending on how RB Leipzig (second, and level on points with the Bavarians) fare against Mainz.

Eagles flying high
Frankfurt have lost just one of their opening six games, with that defeat coming on the opening day of the season against Dortmund. They're since won four and drawn one.
Leverkusen looking for three points
After two draws on the bounce, including surrendering a two-goal lead to Holstein Kiel, Xabi Alonso's men will be determined to get back to winning ways and climb closer to the top of the table. They face a formidable Frankfurt side, however, who are in fine form.
