There was good news emerging from Rose's press conference in the form of Péter Gulácsi, Assan Ouédraogo and Nicolas Seiwald all returning to first team training. All three are now available in varying capacities.

Marco Rose hopeful on Openda

Loïs Openda was missing in action against St. Pauli in the DFB Cup this week after picking up a medial ligament injury, but coach Marco Rose isn't ruling the striker out of the trip to Dortmund just yet. "With Loïs, we have to see how he reacts in training today," Rose told media on Friday morning. "We're still hopeful. If he gets on the plane, he'll be in the squad. Then he might even play from the start."
