Augsburg survived by the skin of their teeth after a 2-0 defeat at Gladbach on the final day that could have sent them into a play-off had Stuttgart won. Robert Gumny was sent off at the end of a difficult first-half for Augsburg in which they had already fallen two behind with Netz and Hofmann strikes. Augsburg raised little resistance but were ultimately relieved to have sealed their top-flight survival.

Daniel Farke has confirmed that midfielders Manu Kone and Christoph Kramer will miss this final game. There's still a doubt about goalkeeper Jonas Omlin, who has missed the last two matches due to a muscle injury. Expect emotional scenes as two players feature in front of the Gladbach faithful for a final time - captain Lars Stindl and attacking talisman Marcus Thuram (pictured).

Mergim Berisha's (pictured) persistent ankle issue means he's a doubt once again for this final game. Iago and Ruben Vargas both returned to training following injury during the week, but only the latter could well be involved. It's also reportedly a race against time for Mads Pedersen because of a knee problem. Robert Gumny is at least available again following suspension, but Felix Uduokhai serves a ban for his red card against Dortmund.

Stindl will play his final game for Gladbach here, having joined from Hannover in 2015. The 34-year-old has 62 Bundesliga goals for the club in 221 top-flight matches so far.
