Eintracht have earned 10 of a possible 12 points from their four Bundesliga games with Kauã Santos in goal (three wins and the 3-3 draw with Bayern). The Brazilian has conceded six goals in those matches.

The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga has recommended that teams wear black armbands and observe a minute’s silence for the remaining fixtures on Bundesliga Matchday 15 and Matchday 17 in Bundesliga 2 to remember the victims of Friday’s attack at the Christmas market in Magdeburg.

"They're a solid team with good and clear movement patterns. It'll be very intense - that's what characterises them. They're good at getting their opponents to contest a lot of duels, they're very proactive, play lots of one-twos and are always alert to the second balls, which they're always very determined to win. They put lots of crosses into the box. It will be a nice challenge to play against them."

"Tactically, they do a lot of things like Wolfsburg and Bayern. They build up with four players at the back, Marmoush usually moves in the half-space.
