ADDED TIME

We're now into three minutes of added time here in Sinsheim.
85'

REYNA WITH A CHANCE!

The American is found by Reus in front of goal, 10 yards out in space in the Hoffenheim. But he's leaning back as he shoots, at the ball flies high over the crossbar.
83'

HAALAND OFF THE POST!

Another great chance for the substitute as he latches onto a through ball on the left side of the Hoffenheim box before smashing at goal, but it glances off the near post and wide of goal.
83'

POOR FINISH FROM BAUMGARTNER

A great break for the home side with Geiger through the middle, and he finds Baumgartner ahead of him on the edge of the Dortmund box. He goes for goal, but his effort is a weak one and it falls straight into the hands of Hitz.
82'

INTO THE FINAL 10...

Ryan Sessegnon is on for his Bundesliga debut for Hoffenheim with three final changes made by Sebastian Hoeneß in an attempt to get his side back into this game.
79'

HUGE CHANCE FOR HAALAND!

Almost a goal himself for Haaland as he latches onto Guerreiro's through ball and sends a low shot across goal. It beats the outstretched arm of Baumann, but drifts just wide past the far post.
76'

REUS PUTS DORTMUND AHEAD!

The substitutes combine to put BVB ahead as a long ball forward is flicked on by Reyna for Haaland to chase. He cuts the ball across for Reus with Baumann closing him down, and the Dortmund captain calmly slots it home. Haaland is now down and injured after falling making that pass.

REUS WITH THE STRIKE!

The BVB captain latches onto a loose ball from Meunier's attempted pass to him on the edge of the Hoffenheim box. He skips past one, and two, before smashing a shot at goal, only to see Baumann parry it away strongly.
72'

RUDY TAKES A KNOCK

The former Schalke man may have a lost a tooth here in a challenge with Delaney, but should be able to continue.
67'

CHANCES FEW AND FAR BETWEEN

Dortmund have been in further control of this game in the second half so far, but neither side have been able to create any clear-cut chances since half-time. Hence Favre bringing on Haaland and Reus with time to play, and Hoeneß doing the same with Baumgartner and Bruun Larsen.

OPTIONS COMING

Fear not Dortmund fans, Erling Haaland and Marco Reus are being prepared on the sideline.

DOUBLE CHANGE

Bruun Larsen and Baumgartner are on for the home side, with the former playing against his former side after his move in January this year.
58'

POSCH BOOKED

The Hoffenheim centre-back is cautioned for a foul on Dahoud.
55'

REYNA IN PAIN

The 17-year-old is down after a challenge with Posch, clutching his right wrist. He will be able to carry on though.
53'

REYNA IN DEMMAND

With no Haaland on the pitch for Dortmund yet, Gio Reyna has been taking the shots on goal. He also came closest to scoring with his first half effort cleared off his own goalline by Skov.

FUN FACT

Dortmund's last draw came back in December 2019 against Leipzig. Since then 21 matches have been played, and Dortmund have never shared the points with their opposition.
50'

SANCHO SHOT BLOCKED

Outstanding long ball from Hummels over the Dortmund defence finds Sancho in the home side's box. He skips past Posch and Rudy before shooting low at goal, but Akpoguma is in the right place to make the block.
49'

BACK IN THE GROOVE

Dortmund were on top in terms of possession in the first half and it's the same story here at the start of the second.
46'

BACK UNDERWAY

The second half is underway here at Hoffenheim with no changes for either side.

ADDED TIME

We're now into two minutes of added time at the end of the first half.
44'

BIG CHANCE FOR BRANDT!

Sancho's pass to his attacking partner is a strong one, but perfectly-placed to meet his run towards the Hoffenheim box. He controls with one touch but his second lets him down, sending the ball loose for Vogt to recover and clear from 10 yards out.
40'

RUDY FIRES OVER!

A good, rare chance for the home side as Belfodil beats Hummels with a dribble into the Dortmund box and reaches the byline before stopping. He looks up and finds Rudy racing forward in space, and he shoots first-time but sends his strike high over the crossbar.

MEUNIER HITS THE BAR!

The Belgian meets Reyna's corner and flicks a header goalward. Baumann is left to watch as it drifts across goal but he's delighted to see it bounce over off the top of the crossbar.
37'

HERE COME BVB

Dortmund all over Hoffenheim here with overloading numbers in attack around the edge of the home side's penalty area. Can they make the pressure tell before the break?
36'

OFF THE LINE!

Best chance of the game so far for either side as Dortmund break with numbers. Sancho finds Reyna and he races forward with men in support. Passlack and Akpoguma tumble together in front of him but he carries on before flicking the ball past Baumann, only to see Skov clear it off the line in dramatic fashion. That's the closest we've come to a goal so far.
34'

DEFENCE WINNING THE DAY

Vogt is in the centre of Hoffenheim's backline, while Can has been the most involved of Dortmund's defenders thus far.

NOT EVERYTHING CLICKING

Hoffenheim have been happy to sit back and soak up Dortmund's pressure so far, working with the counter and less time on the ball. Dortmund, on the other hand, have had most of the possession but can't seem to find the last touch in the final third to get them good chances on goal. Just that last element is lacking so far for Favre and his side.
29'

BIG CHANCE FOR SANCHO

The Englishman latches onto Dahoud's long ball and closes in on goal from the left flank on an angle. He curls a shot past Baumann, but it also drifts past the far post. The offside flag does go up though, to save his blushes.
27'

BUILDING PRESSURE

Dortmund doing well on the ball and in winning it back quickly from Hoffenheim in the last few minutes. The counter-attack is looking dangerous as well, but Passlack has wasted two early chances on the run down the left. Despite having no striker on the pitch, there are plenty of attacking talents in tow today.

SANCHO ON THE PROWL

The Englishman is playing as part of Dortmund's three-man attack today, both on the right, in the centre and on the left with a free-roaming role.
21'

PISZCZEK COMES OFF

The defender can't continue with what looked to be an injury to his eye. Delaney comes on, dropping into the left side of the defence with Can moving to the right.
19'

GACINOVIC AGAIN!

A quick snap-shot at goal from the Serbian after a flick through for him by Belfodil. His shot from the edge of the box is on target, but Hitz is down well to save.
15'

PISZCZEK DOWN

The Dortmund defender is down with a knock to his head here after challenging for a free-kick in the Hoffenheim penalty area.
14'

BVB BALL EARLY ON

The visitors are enjoying most of the early possession, but both sides have been able to get forward to create chances.

WITSEL THE ANCHOR

The Belgian is on his own as the holding midfielder today for Dortmund, with Reyna and Dahoud pushed further up the pitch.
9'

SANCHO GOES FOR A LOB

Lovely ball over the top of the Hoffenheim defence from Hummels sends Sancho in behind. Baumann teases to come out and the Englishman bites and tries to loop the ball over his head. He doesn't get the right connection with his effort though and the Hoffenheim captain gathers that one with ease.
7'

NOW FOR DORTMUND!

First big chance for the away side as Brandt sends Passlack into the Hoffenheim box with a superb through ball. He beats Akpoguma to the ball and cuts-back towards Reyna, but Vogt's challenge is enough to send the ball away from danger. Both sides starting this one well.
4'

HUGE CHANCE!

What an incredible ball in from Skov, who curls a cross from 30 yards outside the Dortmund box around the back of the BVB defence to meet Gacinovic's run. He slides to meet the ball ahead of Hitz and pokes it at goal, but sends his effort just wide of the empty goal. Big opening already with Skov the architect.
2'

3-4-3 FOR THE HOSTS

Gacinovic is on the left, Belfodil through the middle and Bebou out on the right in the Hoffenheim attack, with Rudy on the right flank.

Dortmund's player support manager Sebastian Kehl says that Lucien Favre has decided for "freshness" with his squad today, with many games still to go in the coming weeks.

A FEW MINUTES TO GO

Warm-ups are getting finished up now, and soon we'll have both sides back out on the pitch for game time!

JOY WITHOUT KRAMARIC?

Hoffenheim are missing their six-goal top scorer today, and will have to find another way what has been very-much a brick wall Dortmund defence so far in 2020/21. BVB have restricted the opposition to a league-low 20 shots on their goal so far this term, conceding just twice and both being scored in defeat at Augsburg.

NO HAALAND, NO REUS, NO PROBLEM?

Some big names are waiting in the wings for Dortmund today, but that might not matter with 17-year-old Gio Reyna on the pitch. Reyna has had a direct hand in four of BVB's seven Bundesliga goals after three matches. We spoke to the American exclusively this week, and you can see our full interview on bundesliga.com right now!

WATCH: BORUSSIA DORTMUND - THE NEW HOME OF THE NEXT GENERATION

BORUSSIA'S BOGEY SIDE

Will today finally be the day that Dortmund topple Hoffenheim once again? The hosts today are unbeaten in their last five meetings with Dortmund, with no fewer than 19 goals being scored in those games. Add to that the fact that BVB have hit nine in their last six, and Hoffenheim have hit 16 in their last six, and even without Erling Haaland or Andrej Kramaric starting, we can expect some goals.

HOFFENHEIM TEAM NEWS

The big news from Sebastian Hoeneß's squad today is that Andrej Kramaric - the Bundesliga's Player of the Month in September - is out today. He joins Kasim Adams, Pavel Kaderabek and Ermin Bicakcic on the sidelines, and so changes are aplenty for the home side too. Ishak Belfodil joins Ihlas Bebou in attack, while Mijat Gacinovic starts for the first time in the Bundesliga for his new side ahead of Christoph Baumgartner. It's a three-man defence as usual, with Kevin Vogt in the centre of it with Kevin Akpoguma and Stefan Posch either side.

DORTMUND TEAM NEWS

Plenty of surprises in Lucien Favre's line-up today. Marwin Hitz starts ahead of Roman Bürki in goal, while Erling Haaland is only on the bench with no out-and-out striker selected by BVB. They'll start with an attack of Jadon Sancho, Julian Brandt and Gio Reyna today, while Mahmoud Dahoud joins Axel Witsel in central midfield ahead of Jude Bellingham, and Felix Passlack earns his first start of the season ahead of Raphael Guerreiro on the left flank.

HOFFENHEIM STARTING XI!
