Half time
What a half that was! Fürth took the early lead through Ache, who then had another ruled out for offside as the visitors swarmed all over their opponents. Saliakas woke Pauli from their slumber with a well-worked goal before things calmed somewhat. The Cloverleaves were then reduced to ten after Jung's straight red.

Fürth down to ten
Jung gets himself into a terrible mess at the back, the Fürth man not knowing to do when in possession. Daschner nips in and steals possession and he may just be away towards goals, but Jung grapples him down. The referee flashes a straight red and the home fans roar in delight.

Saliakas volley
The ball loops all the way out to the edge of the area from a corner and Saliakas is waiting. The goalscorer takes aim and smacks a low volley at the target. He hits his own man, Paqarada, in the midriff and that's going to hurt for a bit. Fürth clear the loose ball.

Raschl's golden moment
What a chance! John works it to Raschl and suddenly Fürth are in with a shot right in front of the sticks! Fürth's No. 20 gets a little too excited and wellies miles over the crossbar. That was begging to be banged home.

Barnstorming stuff
Both teams continue to go at each other in what has been a superb game of end-to-end football thus far. Pauli appear to have recovered from that desperate start to the game but Fürth are continuing to look adventurous.

The hosts are alive !
Pauli are level following their first serious foray forward. Oladapo Afolayan barges through the centre and flicks a pass to Jackson Irvine, who in turn spreads to Saliakas. The Greek full back drills into the corner and the hosts are on terms.

Goal ruled out
Amazing scenes here. Ache has just had a goal ruled out as Pauli continue their calamitous start to the game. Asta's curling centre from the right flank is left by Eric Smith, allowing Ache - who was about an inch offside - to angle into the far corner.
